Dizzee's first cristalizes the urban paranoia and bad vibes of the east end through a sound that is as punk as hip hop gets, crafting an album that joins Roots Manuva and Techno Animal in the campaign for the destruction of corporate rap, and proves that the old continent is starting to generate its own personal, non-derivative hip hop artists.

Boy in da Corner is the studio/Mixtape Album by artist/Rapper/DJ Dizzee Rascal, and Album has highlight a Rap, Electronic sound. It was released/out on 2004 in English dialect, by some Music Recording Company, as the follow-up to last studio/Mixtape Album.
Once again it is demonstrated that only underground hip hop stays true to the essence of the culture while looking forward. Don't chek it and you'll be missing something.
Grime is an English music genre that branched out of UK garage in the early 2000's. It is typically around 140 bpm and features dark, heavy basslines and unique, futuristic sounds. It often features Mc's who use jungle, garage and drum and bass inspired flows. Rules & Regulations • Do NOT post anything that isn't grime related. Just downloaded it, will give it a listen and get back to you. Edit: I have just finished listening, and it's a good album, it's not a grime album, but I think we all already knew it wasn't going to be.
Tracks that stand out for me are, The Other Side, Sick A Dis, Slow Your Roll and Dummy. I wouldn't say there's a bad track on the album, his flow and delivery is on point as always.
And his lyricism is still second to none. This is no Boy In Da Corner, it's not even a Showtime, but it's a good album all the same. We're never going to get another BIDC though, let's be honest. He's a grown man now, he's not 16-17 anymore, he's not on the road and he hasn't got the same hunger. As we grow, so does our taste in music, and our influences change. To sum it up, It's a great album, well worth a purchase but it isn't close to BIDC.
